# How will I know when my coach sends me a message?

## Coaching message notifications

Paraprofessionals and teachers who have coaching enabled in axis3 will receive notifications when they have an unread message from their coach.

**Option 1 (of 2):** Check your notifications icon at the top right of any page. The number of new notifications will appear as a number in a teal circle by the bell icon. Clicking on the new message alert will take you directly to your unread messages.

**Option 2 (of 2):** Visit your People page.

**TIP:** Make sure to sign in to axis3 each day so you don't miss important messages!
